Bug Report Details
When building on Windows, rayhunter will not autostart after turning the MF800B on.
Reason: On Windows, line endings are stored as CRLF, whereas Linux uses only LF. Git by default uses the line endings according to its base system. During build, the script at
dist/scripts/mf800b_install_recovery.sh(the one responsible for autostarting rayhunter) gets compiled into the installer binary, INCLUDING the line endings, and is then copied over to the MF800B during install. This causes the script to fail when it is executed on the device.Fix: Rayhunter repo has a list of scripts to force LF line endings for the scripts on other target devices. Add the following line to
.gitattributesto add MF800B to the list as well:dist/scripts/mf800b_install_recovery.sh eol=lf
